Science Fiction

Science fiction relates the author’s vision of what may happen in the future.

Fantasy

Traditional fantasy includes folk tales, fairy tales, tall tales, fables, myths and legends. These stories have been passed down from generation to generation in the oral tradition and have no known authors.

Modern fantasy goes beyond the laws of nature into another, often magical realm. In contrast to traditional fantasy, the writers of modern fantasy are known.

Horror

Horror frightens or startles readers by creating feelings of terror.
